EVENTS 2025.

Autumn Tree & Plant Sale.

On Sunday 14th September we will be holding our annual plant sale outside the Village Memorial Hall. Again all are welcome, as will be donations of any spare plants, or seedlings. The Funds that are raised will be donated to the Community First Responders. The Sale will run from 10am until Mid-day. (We raised £364 from the Sale making a Total Raised of just over £700 from Donations and the 2 Sales!)

A.G.M.

We will be holding our A.G.M. on Friday 29th August at 7-30pm in the Memorial Hall. Please Note that it has been changed!

Open Day.

This year National Allotment Week is being held from 11th - 17th August and we felt that we ought to take part. We will therefore be holding an Open Day at the Allotments on Saturday 16th August, from 1-3pm, so please invite friends and family to come and have a look around.
Plant Sale.
It is intended to have a Plant Sale at the Allotments on the Open Day. We will have less Plants than usual, but will still have quite a lot! (We raised £340 from the Sale including a sizeable Donation!)

Plant Sale.

On Sunday 25th May we will be holding our annual plant sale outside the Village Memorial Hall. Again all are welcome, as will donations of any spare plants, or seedlings. The Funds that are raised will be donated to the Community First Responders. The Sale will run from 10am until Mid-day. (We raised just over £1,000!)

EVENTS 2024

TREE & PLANT SALE.
We are having another Tree and Garden Plants Sale, to raise yet more funds for the Community First Responder Project. (There will also be Cakes and Tea/Coffee available) This will be held outside the Village Memorial Hall on Sunday the 22nd September at 10-1pm. (It was a wet day but we still raised over £500 in total sales for the Community First Responders.)

PLANT SALE.
On Sunday 19th May we will be holding our annual plant sale outside the Village Memorial Hall. Again all are welcome, as will donations of any spare plants or seedlings. The Funds that are raised will be donated to the Community First Responders. The Sale will run from 10am until 1pm. (The Sale Raised about £750!)

Composting Workshop.
We've arranged a free composting workshop, which will be led by Dr Anton Rosenfeld from Garden Organic. Dr Rosenfeld has worked with large-scale commercial growers and small community gardens and allotments. He has also worked as a grower, runs many training courses and regularly writes for gardening magazines.

The workshop will be held on Thursday 13th June, in the Memorial Hall from 10.00am until 1.00pm and will be followed by a light lunch for participants. Please Book a Place with Jane.
